3rd District Democratic Congressional nominee Tim Steele has received the endorsement from two separate union organizations.
The United Auto Workers (Region 1-D) and The United Food & Commercial Workers
(Local 951) have both endorsed Tim Steele.
Lana Boldi, UAW Political Director for this region, said, "We believe that
Tim Steele will represent our interests and the interest of all our members
better than the federal representation we currently have."
Joe Crump, the Secretary/Treasurer for UFCW Local 951, echoed that sentiment.
‘"Tim Steele is more in touch with how our members think and live, and will
be more receptive to our issues than the current 3rd District congressman."
"I’m extremely pleased that these two organizations feel that I understand
today’s workers, workplace and future issues better than my opponent," said
Steele. "I welcome their support."
Tim Steele will face incumbent Vern Ehlers for this US House seat on Tuesday,
