More Words from Pop Addicts

Dear Editor--

My name is Miss X and I am a Pop Addict.

I salute Paul Most for his courage and laughably bad taste in music. As the Bible says, "Let he among you who has not sung along with Whitney (loudly, in the car) to 'And I will always love you-ooo-ooooo-ooo' me the first to cast stones."

My personal list from hell:

Stevie Nicks-(Just like a) White Winged Dove--I bought this tape under the cover of darkness in freshman year at college and had it in my walkman 24-7. If anyone ever asked what I was listening to I'd answer, "Talking Heads" (hey, it was art school).

Chicago-All in the Beginning--The instrumental part at the ending? Those damn cowbells? Carlos Santana, you are Chicago-lite. (p.s. Lenny Kravitz is producing the Chicago album and he's cool, right?)

Every Cat Stevens record ever put out--I think this is a girl thing. They're right there in the closet next to James Taylor and Joni. My husband won't let me play them.

John Denver-Rocky Mountain High--Wait a minute, when was the last time you realy listened to this? It's not that bad. Okay, I thought he was kind of cute, that's why I really bought the record.

Glen Campbell-Wichita Lineman and Dionne Warwick-Walk on By--two miscellaneous little jewels in the crown of Pop.

Bottom of the Barrel Never Admitted to Anyone True Confessions--Barry Manilow's Mandy and Steve Perry's solo work...

Forgive me Father for I have sinned...

Words of Wisdom

Dear Editor:
I checked out the first issue of the magazine. The "Theater of Hate" T-shirt on Del is real cool.

Sincerely,
